Airo Holiday – A Yoga Retreat in South Goa
Author: Natalie Basch & Sarina Samaya
The good times continue in South Goa with Airo Yoga.
We have found a fantastic new studio location in Ourem, Palolem called Anand Yoga Village. This is a newly decorated Yoga space, surrounded by lush greenery, high coconut trees and a HUGE studio that is now equipped for Airo Yoga!
Regular classes continue from Monday to Sunday at 9 am with Sarina, Tanvi and Prachi. And Sarina will be hosting the FIRST four-day Airo Retreat called AIRO HOLIDAYS starting this January 2022.
About Airo Holidays
We invite you to an Airo Yoga Holiday Retreat in Anand Yoga Village, located at the quiet and serene south end of Palolem Beach in Goa. During your stay, you will get to experience Airo Yoga, meditation and heartful sharing circles. Two healthy meals per day and lovely beach huts will make you feel right at home.
This retreat is designed as a holiday get-away and restorative retreat. The program includes enough free time to rest, explore Palolem, and get to know your fellow practitioners, while also keeping your mind fresh and your body active with daily meditation and Airo classes.
Airo Yoga awakes the inner child and allows us to re-experience our bodies through play. It is a movement practice that is suitable for all levels and ages. The practice is unique as it integrates the swing and follows set sequences that support you to establish a regular self-practice, even after the retreat.

About the Facilitator
Sarina studied (experiential) education and psychology, as well as trauma-informed body (psycho-)therapy, and has practised Buddhist meditation and movement arts for many years. She is an Airo- and Yoga teacher and bodyworker who lives and taught in India for two years.
Sarina is a spiritual activist by heart who loves to experience life in connections, through movement and self-inquiry. Her vision is to contribute to a transformation from a paradigm of separation to one of interconnectedness—with her writing, her learning environmental designs, and her therapy—but also in those moments of humble acceptance of life’s flow and heartful, spontaneous connections.
