AIRO YOGA FOUNDATIONS
Airo Yoga is a fresh and playful spin on aerial yoga. It combines elements of Vinyasa Yoga, Pilates, and Acro-play, with the custom-designed Airo Yoga swing. The main purpose of the Airo Yoga Foundations online course is to teach you the beginner basics of Airo Yoga so that you can practice at home. Packaged into a cutting-edge eLearning platform, you can develop your Airo practice anywhere, at any time, on your laptop, smartphone or tablet. You’ll also get access to the Airo Yoga Facebook community page where you can connect with other Airo Yogis and where I will hold monthly Q&A sessions.
TIME INVESTMENT: The Airo Yoga Foundations course takes roughly 30 hours to complete.
That’s 1½ hours a day for a month, or 3 hours a day over two weeks. Take it slow or absorb it like a sponge, the choice is yours.

I’m Natalie, and I started Airo Yoga in 2018. My yoga and aerial journey started a long while back, and it has taken me to some pretty cool places in the world: Indonesia, Maldives, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and India. I’ve been growing Airo Yoga, my take on aerial yoga, with a structured and systematic approach for the past two years. In this time, I’ve taught over 1500 hours in Airo classes, 13 workshops, hosted 5 teacher trainings and have qualified 38 Airo teachers. Airo is taught in four studios in Kuala Lumpur, three studios in Morocco and at a five-star resort in Sri Lanka.
In April 2020, the world came to a halt and we were all forced into lockdown. I was in Rishikesh in India at the time, taking some time off and coming back to my own practice. My intention was to develop a self-practice through Ashtanga yoga, and I immediately noticed the benefits of learning a set routine and sticking to it. I wanted to incorporate this into Airo Yoga and used my time during lockdown to create Airo Yoga Foundations: A COURSE ON HOW TO LEARN AND PRACTICE BY YOURSELF.
A lot of love, time, and effort has been put into this, and I feel that this course will keep your mind occupied, develop your understanding of Airo Yoga and teach you another playful alternative to moving your body! The course is for EVERYONE! It doesn’t matter if you have no flexibility, if you’re scared of being upside down, if you’ve never done Airo – or if you have – this is the FOUNDATIONS course, and you will understand everything from the beginning to the end.
