GET INTO THE SWING OF THINGS
Developed by Airo Yoga’s creator, Natalie Basch, the three-hour Airo Yoga workshops familiarise students with the custom swing and highlight the concept of mindfulness through play.
Open to all levels, Airo Yoga is perfect for yogis and non-yogis, fitness fanatics to gym dabblers, ravers to ecstatic dancers.
During the workshops, students learn how to move through set sequences which are designed to build heat, strengthen and stretch the muscles, and activate the cells. Through fun and playful poses, students experience their bodies in a completely new way!

We introduce you to the origin and philosophy of Airo Yoga, and what makes it unique compared to other forms of aerial yoga.
We practice safe entries and exits into the swing.
Through meditation, we find connection and centering in preparation for movement.
It’s time to start moving through the 3 basic set sequences.
We cover a detailed understanding of inversions and practice this beneficial technique.
We practice playful and challenging poses with partners, designed to create connection and build confidence.

UNDERSTANDING THE BODY
“Airo Talks” are informative two-hour sessions from experts in the industry discussing the health and mental benefits of Airo Yoga.
Doctors, physios, body workers, psychologists, energy healers, Airo teachers and business experts are invited into the studio to give both teachers and students a clearer understanding of the various benefits of a consistent Airo Yoga practice.
Taking an all rounded approach, the talks will focus on the anatomical, physiological, energetical, physiological and spiritual approach to understanding Airo Yoga in greater detail and why this practice is so effective.
Presented on Sunday 11 May, “Airo Talks: Spine and Curves” is a detailed discussion with Physio and Airo Yoga teacher Carolyn, and doctor and Airo Yoga Teacher Jananee. The discussion will focus on Scoliosis and how Airo Yoga can improve the functional structure of the spine. Learn the correct and safe exercises for you and/or your students scoliotic spine, and how Airo Yoga can be beneficial for this.
